Jim Chandler
Age 55, Background: An attorney practicing in Florida since 1975 with offices both in Miami (Coral Gables) and Sarasota, Florida. He specializes in commercial real estate transactions and litigation, including hospitality-related matters.

J. Ryan's duties : Handles the legal and organizational structure and all major businees or directional decisions not related to day-to-day operational matters together with Rafael Gonzalez and Carolyn Bonfrere.

Nick Bonfrere
Background: A chef and restaurant manager, he has built or run several local spots including Coaster's, the Saltwater Café and Poseldon. Before his death in 2001, Nick played an critical role in the creative development of the J. Ryan's concept.

Rafael Gonzalez
Age 59, Background: He's most known for his longtime affiliation with the Columbia restaurant on St. Armand's Circle, and managing the Miramar Restaurant in the Sarasota Quay.

J. Ryan's duties: He handles the company's customer and employee relation matters. Along with Carolyn, he is in charge of daily operations at the restaurant.

Carolyn Bonfrere
Background: Nick's surviving spouse. Even before Nick's death, Carolyn was intimately involved in the operations of the business, including all bookkeeping and related financial matters which she continues to handle.

J. Ryan's duties: She, along with Rafael, is involved in daily operational matters, including quality control as it relates to food preparation. She also handles the bookkeeping and related financial matters of the restaurant.
